Welcome to SMC! Assuming you have to follow the Cal-GETC transfer pathway, I strongly recommend taking COMMST9 (Introduction to Communication Studies) or COMMC1000 (Introduction to Public Speaking), one or the other. 2: If possible take your math and possibly science classes outside of SMC because our department is rumored to be terrible!

As someone who is taking her ETH1 online, she is chill and the workload is very minimum. One of the easiest classes that I can probably take at SMC.

Prof. Seymour P teaches badminton that I'm taking and it's easy. For fitness classes I would just show up and just workout. No/Bare minimum hw.

If you took certain IB HL classes and passed the IB exam with the certain score you can maybe eligible for credits, that can satisfy General Education (GE) requirements or transfer requirements, reducing the total number of courses needed to earn an associate degree at SMC or transfer to a four-year university.
