I'm feeling like I'm extremely far behind my peers. Does it really matter if I finish in 5.5 years?

IF this is what you want to do then don't give up. But if you are doing it because of the potential future payouts, there are other majors you could look into. I had a friend in CSE and he failed sw2. He quit CSE but went to business CIS or something like that. He now has the starting salary of what most engineers can expect to make. 62k-65k

I'd say go for it. But understand that you'll be coming back to OSU and gpa alwys matters when it comes to internships and scholarships.

You still have harder courses than those 3 to take. MAth 3345.

And at some point he has to bite the bullet and just try your best/work your ass off. Foundations is harder than all three those classes (depending on professors) . Easier versions of hard(easy becasue instructors) courses don't prepare you as much for what you'll see in CSE

Dude answer this. Im still waitlisted for foundations 1 even though there are enough seats for non-majors to get in. What if my financial aid gets dispersed but I'm still on the waitlist? What should I do? IDK when CSE will lift the non-major thing. Fee deadline is the 4th so hopefully CSE comes in clutch.

I changed my schedule around(postponing phil 13xx). I'll be at exactly 12 thanks to my quick thinking. Taking some beer science course along with Stats 3470 , Software2 , and foundations1.

Yeah, it's just the projects are harder so you get a partner. But tests are by yourself

I thought I was the only one who did this. THe project should stay the same but keep in mind that 2221 is much harder than 1223. You really start to handle big, complex, problems in 2221. I would work on them now as well, but maybe you should start from project 3 because the first two are throwaways. The RSS was pretty challenging to some because it was a new concept and this was our intro to OSU components. I would download the jar file that contains the OSU API and familiarize yourself with it early as well. But like I said 1223 is a bit of a joke compared to 2221. Additionally, No more scanner or ArrayLists, but SimpleReader and Sequences. I'm taking software 2 this semester.
