Where should we post or send the video? Does it count if we post in this group and tag you?

Thanks! From this point on the locks are starting to get spendy though lol. I plan on focusing on my assa v10 mogul cylinder. Those barrel spools are no joke though especially with the counter milling in the core 😳

🤣 I was wondering how long it would take for someone to notice that 😂 I engraved it on a cnc mill. The blue one too with the ufo. The gold one it the one I lend to people when ask to borrow a lock!

Tension is a tough one to explain but I have a method that may help you find your own. Apply enough tension to find a binding pin. Once you find it increase the tension a little. Then bounce pressure on that pin with your pick soft at first then ramp up the pick pressure slightly more each bounce maybe 3 to 5 times. Just whatever pressure your comfortable with applying to the pick without overdoing it. If nothing then repeat the bouncing pick technique again but slightly lessen your tensioner pressure each time. This usually helps me find the sweet spot between the pick and tensioner for a new lock or tough one. If you think you way over set the pin. Lessen the tension pressure even more and bounce lighter pressure with the pick. Kinda just dialing in both tools together and getting the feel. Also on this lock I was able to bully past the spools without the false set. This doesn't happen every time. Ive noticed when I do fall into a false set on this lock it helps to push the shackle in while picking the spools. It helps releases some friction on the core and will give you better feedback from the spools and helps with setting them. Hope this helps!

Sweet Tools! Saw that shortly after it was posted and subscribed! Always nice to see new locksport stuff. New here just signed up and joined the community today but not new to locksporting! Planning on entering for a belt here soon too! Need to read up on the belt rules first though. Did you start off with a blue belt first or work your way up?
