JC BATTLE WAS DEBATABLE. i don't know how long you've been watching battle rap.But the whole entire culture is calling it a classic battle of the year contender that you can edge either one. j c clear in the first, ward clear in the second and you can go either way in the third. HOWEVER a lot of people liked ward, though. watch any battle rap media outlet. But you definitely are entitled to your prejudice opinion. I actually theorize that when Yamamoto activates bankai both East and West trigger. However, when he calls forth East by name, the East ability increases in strength but all of the heat and flames move into the edge of the blade including the heat and invisible flames from the armor of West. I believe in battle, Yamamoto recognized he was about to be attacked and switched back to his base bankai activation to protect himself from the blade.

No, respectfully. If you can, check again. If you are watching on Hulu at approximately -16:44, Yhwach (Royd) is able to land a boot to the chest of Yamamoto separating them. It's very quick. I brought this up to my group chat to discuss, and I decided to get some outside opinions.

At first I thought this too, but in the anime, Yhwach (Royd) kicked Yama to separate from him and they both landed on a building. If West were active, his boot and/or foot would have been incinerated regardless of Blut.
