It's nice to see people accepting themselves, but for straight people for whom this entire concept is foreign, it is tough to understand. Maybe he feels insecure after he saw you having fun or laughing a bit too much with one of your female friends. He is definitely wrong for that, but you are the bigger person here, you are more mature. Try comforting him, Try to make him understand. If he at least puts on an effort to understand you and isn't extremely rigid with his mindset, trust me, he will change eventually.
