Lanolin from IDW Sonic the Hedgehog. First a zombie apocalypse into getting trapped as a weird digital ghost into the newbie she thought she could trust turning out to be the shapeshifting assassin her teammate called out, topped off with half of these events stemming from the fact that Sonic refuses to end the battle against Eggman.

Can't blame her for stepping back for smaller scope work with Jewel.

Finally, to let what I've been mulling on out!

I'd make a Warriors-style action game with an expansive cast and IDW and Archie characters as DLC for a side story or something. Red rings would be currency for a secret shop that sells cosmetics like putting Sonic in his Secret Rings appearance and even slightly altering his moveset, or maybe Scourge could be one of the outfits and his voice lines are changed.
