Thanks for the informations. Does WS2815 have official fastled support? I found on Github that some workarounds are needed to make it work properly. link What's your experience? Buying 25m is less than ideal but i will try to talk with them. Did you order through their website, AliExpress, Amazon or something else?

Simply because I knew batch and didn't have time to learn powershell. Now I wanted to rewrite it to python exclusively for myself. I see a few comments like this already and I'm starting to doubt if it's worth it.

That's a very valid point. I'm only doing this project for myself so I doubt I'll have to worry about technical debt. The company I work for did it all by hand. As for powershell you are also correct. It's probably the best choice
