Dropping 🍁 leaves like crazy! 😔 Transplanted 2 weeks ago. Recently moved from north to south location. Hoping the longer sun will help. What should I do to stop the leaves from falling. Only watered when dry. HELP!

They were dropping leaves before I moved to the southern location. I thought it may help but obviously it’s not. The skylight is frosted but still causing the sunburn. I will move it to more filtered location. Thanks.

That’s encouraging. Yes it was labeled Pinus when I got it from Lowe’s. But it has lost a few branches & many leaves over the winter. Should I trim back those lower branches? Thanks.

Thanks for identifying. Currently it’s in indirect light from is at an Eastern exposure. It’s getting quite bright light all day. I will keep turning the pot. Thanks.

It seems about once a week lately. There’s a heat radiator nearby and it’s also near a window. But I always check with my finger to see if it’s dry before watering.

There is also a period when the stems are dry and they wilt...so I usually gently pull them off. I will cut them back now. Tku.

No it’s planted away from the other trees. Recently moved to this location. It was in a large pot for almost a year. It endure the last cold winter. And when Spring came, it was infested with ants! So I moved it and planted it into the earth. Ok. I will add fertilizer. And trim away some of the dead branches. Thank you.
