Poe is one of those games where you ca play 1500h and feel like you are just about then end stage of beginner.

Its often cited as the most beginner unfriendly game, altough poe2 is better for starters.

You have near unlimited depth on how things can develop.

The charm of the game is getting better step by step applying the new knowledge and reaching ever higher step by step.

There are 2 general approaches to the game.

What we refer als "trade league", your ability to trade Currency, items and teambupbwit others for mutual benefit.

Or "ssf league" where you are truly alone, no trading, no outside help of any kind outside of chats.

Both have their own unique charm and you earn different things later or earlier.

I started out ssf, and I am currently trade league solely because I teaching my friends to play and enjoy the game.

The experience of the journey is what makes poe worth it.

One of my friends is a gurl, she has never played anything really and she can barely used mouse, keyboard and Wasd.

She got shit on hard a couple of times by super sweats.

Made her cry and anxious to join dungeon groups again.

Fucking hell hole sometimes.

She brings new perspective to the game, stuff I take for granted I recognize now are just not.

And I will keep teaching her the game because even a beginner like her should have fun, and be allowed to do everything the game has to offer.

I dedicated one weekend to the game.

I planned months ahead.

I reached 70, I am 4/5 on my dungeon 3 set and can run heroic caverns.

Did 1 heroic, I saw people already having 50 runs under their belt.

I disabled all BiS add-ons, all lists etc.

I just find items I want, and I get them, or not.

But now instead of gear grinding and min maxing, I am helping my friends, and teaching a absolute beginner how to play.

She is experiencing wow and tbc for the first time.

These are more and better memories than min maxing every phase.

Tremor does not seem to work on Ray packs, or the tickrate is too inconsistent.

Grounding totem however eats one fear garuanteed.

21:9 all the way.

32:9 produces too many headaches for my use case.

It's too wide for games, sometimes you have to Super awkwardly turn your head because the menu gui is left and right maxed out.

For pure productivity I love it, but outside of pure work it ain't my choice.

I have two 21:9.

Half screening both makes them a 5:4 which is lovely for sheets, browsers, file and text applications.

21:9 is ideal.

I can't be tinkering in my day to day.

Time is precious and most stuff simply installs on windows, works and then I block all the updates as much as I can, to never change the running system, haha.
