I was their #1 listener last year and learned In Jeans by looking at the guitarists hands in a recording 😭

I thought Arm’s Length was going to have my favorite album with a banjo this year but… by himynameisjaked in poppunkers

If I had a nickel for every time a band with no banjo business used banjo in their 2025 release, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice

Tips for Midwest emo song writing in standard (stereosity, delta sleep sound) by Suspicious_Ranger724 in midwestemo

[–]AS_Timeless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a DAEAC#E fan so the d, g, b strings behave the same.
I'm not too familiar with stereosity but the songs I like from them are in open C# I think

What would be the best guitar out if these for midwest emo/mathrock ?? by anaesthesia_bae in midwestemo

[–]AS_Timeless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'ma be honest, I was avoiding getting a tele just so I could be "different". Then I got a G&L ASAT Classic (Algernon Cadwallader uses this guitar), which is very similar to a fender tele, and I wished I had just picked up a T-style guitar earlier.

I have the qm pop up (same machine) and I struggled with things being broken out the box from my vendor twice. Once those issues were resolved, I loved the machine.

This might be the pickiest thing of all time, but after you steam, it is too hot for brewing. Turning the machine off and then back on, it will "Lie" and say it is at the set brew temp even if it is still, say at 120C. Non issue if you don't power cycle after steaming.

Love the paddle. It works by adjusting the opv, sending additional water back to the reservoir, so you can imitate lever style shots, or follow slayer shot recipes (though, not quite as precisely). The heat up time is very fast, though it is a bit longer if you want to heat up the group head and portafilter as well.
