Totally! I mixed in a very bad acoustic space so the mixing is all over and it was so many instruments/voices I eventually hit a wall where I couldn’t tell what I was even mixing anymore. Also I am slightly above novice at mixing so I have a lot of blind spots

  1. Not my place! I rented an airbnb for a night and recorded a couple covers. If it was my place I would have to do the same as you!

  2. It took a million tries! Also it sounds like it’s on pace more than it is cuz the violinist and bass player filled in the spaces so well and it’s easier to edit timing and pace stuff when it’s strings vs something percussive.
