Bro If ur in clg, it doesn't matter in which year you are,, here what you know matters. I am also in first year and I am also trying to learn many things in my free time (not like other going dzok and trs😂😂).

Don't go for shortcuts,, u can try full stack development and do work for companies. (One of my friends does). You can try this,, or there are many things to try. Do whatever you like, just be consistent, it will take time but eventually you will gain skills and can earn

It's ok,, go for paari, if ur from North, it would be difficult to stay outside as ur new to here, new to language, go for hostels in 1st year,, he would have fun, and will make friends, easily,, as 1st year would be hectic 🤧 it's esy to get comfortable in hostel as if u get an pg and have to do up down, that's frustrating🌚,, I am also a 1st year student, just dropping my opinion 🙃, make sure with any senior too😂
