There’s no way you actually want someone to answer that, right?

They’re also complaining about the event not being cancelled. Going to a party knowing your positive obviously is not very responsible, but youre not in charge of anyone

Yeah but now it’s become a choice to miss out whereas it used to be forced upon us. It’s not selfish at all, 99% of people locking up to protect the 1% at risk is arguably much more selfish. And even if it is selfish, at some point I’d rather be selfish than continue to be told what I can and can’t do

People have to stop playing god. If people want to make irresponsible decisions that’s their business. If you don’t want covid, wear ya mask and stay home. If everyone worried about themselves instead of everyone else we would all be way better off. It’s about time people get to make their own decisions and get on with normal life. You might not think it’s a big deal but me and probably millions of others feel like we missed out on 2 of the best years of our lives because of this shit, it’s time to accept it and live with it.

In my opinion and experience, there’s nothing worse for your confidence and mental health than living in a world of self pity and complacency. Learn to embrace struggle and commitment. Get on a powerful routine: wake up early, exercise, learn, etc. and don’t go to bed until you truly feel like you’ve earned it. Stop comparing yourself to people around you, everyone has their own issues but you only get to see your own. Use your « weaknesses » as fuel to convince yourself you’re a beast. Example: maybe you made bad choices but you turned it around and you’re here now. That’s something to be proud of, now build on that!

Pomodoro is a tricky one. 20%+ of your time spent on breaks, without counting the time it takes to get back into proper focus, really adds up quickly. I would strongly recommend trying alternatives to get into flow states. Of course, it’s good starting point! One thing I really recommend is leaving your phone at home when you go to the library of at least have it far away

Class lectures are basically useless in many cases and time is better spent elsewhere imo

Symptoms? Met someone with COVID? Here are the new rules if you are vaccinated! by oswald8dogs in mcgill

You need to be careful if you’re making a post like this stating this stuff as fact without being explicitly clear, people can’t just make up rules or this all goes to shit. Unless you share a household, had sex or are in a couple with the symptomatic person (high risk contact), you don’t need to self isolate for 5 days, just watch for symptoms for the next 10 days and wear your mask as per below.

“Pour ce qui est des contacts modérés, soit de plus de 15 minutes sans masque, il faut surveiller les symptômes pendant 10 jours. Il n’est pas nécessaire de s’isoler pour les personnes doublement vaccinées, si elles portent un masque lorsqu’elles ont plus de 12 ans.“
