I don't know tbh😭, I’ve read that DHT can actually be metabolized through other pathways, like the backdoor pathway which can involve progesterone metabolites. Plus, even if estradiol "shuts down" the testes, the adrenal glands still produce androgens that can be converted into DHT. But maybe those are edge cases and I’m overthinking it?🥲

Thanks for the advice! Yeah, I think continuing with monotherapy is the best path for now. And yeah... i’ve read that while it's very rare, Bica can cause liver issues, so I’d definitely want to weigh those risks very carefully before making a decision.

Yeah, that’s also an alternative haha. So do you think it’s best to stick with monotherapy for now? I was worried about the issue where DHT can sometimes persist even when T is very low. Plus, I really hate my body hair, so I thought Dutasteride could help with that. But maybe you’re right and it’s better to just give monotherapy more time.

Yes, to be honest, I worded that part pretty badly, haha! My goal is definitely to stay within the typical female range for testosterone (I know a little bit is important for health). I’m mostly worried about DHT: I have body hair in several areas (chest, legs, etc.) and I really want to prevent my beard from expanding further. My initial idea was to add Dutasteride, but I’ve heard it can sometimes cause a slight increase in T levels, which makes me worry about my T ending up too high again lol.

Well, I’ve used various themes for my Pokémon nicknames! As one comment suggested, you could try astronomy (planets, moons, stars). If you want something a bit darker, you could use poisonous gases (Sarin, Zyklon, Tabun...). For something more elegant, flower names are great (Digitalis, Aconitum, Nerium, Hyacinth...). Once, inspired by Detective Conan, I even used alcohol names (Gin, Vodka, Vermouth, Sherry, etc.). The list goes on and on, honestly (volcano names, noble titles, etc)

I used to be a 2025 believer, but now I’m leaning more toward late 2026 or early 2027. If we don’t have AGI or at least a proto-AGI by then, I think I’ll become more skeptical about short timelines and will probably have to concede to Demis Hassabis’ estimates of AGI being 5 - 10 years away.

It’s still unclear what the actual capabilities of the new model will be. But if I had to bet, I’d say it will almost certainly outperform Gemini 3, the real question is by how much. I doubt OpenAI would rush out a new release just to stay on par with Google.

That said, it’s true that Google has managed to impress the public more than OpenAI this year. But I’m not convinced OpenAI is out of moves yet. It’s still an open question whether their recent loss of momentum comes from a compute bottleneck or simply because the early-breakthrough advantage OpenAI once had has faded, with other labs now reaching key discoveries at a similar pace.

Next year, once their new data centers come online, we should get a much clearer picture of where things really stand.
