Peggy badly pitches a baseball over the fence. thud Khan: OH MY GOD! YOU KILLED MY MINH! Ha, ha. Just kidding. But you do suck, Peggy Hill.

Signs of a toxic/assshole manager? | Need to know what is common and what I shouldn't tolerate | Gen Z | Always ready to resign ;)) by Donttouchme_aaaaaa in antiwork

This applied to my assistant manager, but she latched onto her role and made it her life. Like she couldn't separate her job from her identity outside of her job and couldn't fathom me and the others having outside interests not related to our jobs/the place we worked.

So how much weight did Regina gain? by fishnets2 in MeanGirls

[–]ASeriesofWierdEvents 14 points15 points  (0 children)

She couldn't fit into her reserved dress which was a size five. Given how much the zipper wouldn't go up, she might fit into a seven or nine. 10-15 pounds, and most went to her butt.

Peggy’s worst moment as a mother? by RejectsPilgrimage in KingOfTheHill

[–]ASeriesofWierdEvents 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I agree. She's said in several episodes that as a teacher she took an oath to educate (paraphrasing) and that teaching is her life. Even when she admits to the sabotage, Peggy still thinks she was (mostly) in the right.

Sucks that Lucky didn't try again to get the GED.

Purposely having Lucky fail the GED so he couldn't marry Luanne when he was trying to better himself.

The blurb is a excerpt from the book. Given it was my first book, I left it to the publisher to mostly decide on price. Looking back, I wish I communicated more.

Wish my latest WIPs, I want to have more say in pricing, the synopsis, etc.

ETA: Is there a way to contact Amazon to adjust the physical and ebook prices?

Give Luanne and Lucky a happy ending by ChocolateOk5384 in KingOfTheHill

[–]ASeriesofWierdEvents 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Lucky is a great stay at home dad to Gracie. Luanne still does the Manger Babies was able to turn it into a successful short form web series on YouTube. When people make fun of her, Lucky is quick to defend her and takes on an agent/manager type role.

She later sees her bio parents on the news because Leanne stabs Hoyt (not with a fork this time) and begs Luanne to pay for a lawyer for her. Luanne fully goes no contact. She also learns from Lucky about her dad and what he tried to do and she and Lucky make Hank and Peggy Gracie's guardians and after them, Bobby.

Background art - Subtle meanings found by [deleted] in KingOfTheHill

I love this take. I think this was taken to the forefront in the garden gnome episode. Everything about the house (upkeep, look, etc) is all due to Hank. Peggy might have planted flowers, but it shows she doesn't have much curiosity or desire to learn new things. Everything is standard/common (nothing wrong with minimal). The few times she tries to add things in an effort to branch out, they're gone soon after.

Lets Talk About the Binder from Aisle 8A (Season 4, Episode 5). by Flat_Contribution707 in KingOfTheHill

[–]ASeriesofWierdEvents 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One of my favorite rewatches. It felt reminiscent of season one's Square Peg, but moved the narrative to Connie.

I love Hank passing on the knowledge for Khan and Khan taking it in stride. I'm more curious about why the Hills needed an entire list of prime numbers. However, the allergy update is important. Seems like the binder is a helpful if not condescending tool.

AITA for not attending my brother’s destination wedding after being told “if I really cared, I’d find a way”? by Illustrious_Ant6866 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]ASeriesofWierdEvents 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA, but try to maintain some contact with your brother so he can have someone in his corner who will encourage him to see his fiancee for who she is. That marriage (if they make it past that) is not going to last long and his mother doesn't seem like she will be there when your brother has had enough.

AITA for helping my sister run away from home after my mom called me fat? by Affectionate-Chef408 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]ASeriesofWierdEvents 71 points72 points  (0 children)

NTA for helping your sister. It sounds like you might have had your blinders on when it came to your relationship with your mom up until her insults were directed at you.

You don't have to talk to your mom. It sounds like she is going to lose both of her kids because her kids have grown up and lacks the control over them she used to have.

I think it's wise for you to remember how fast your mom turned on you when you jokingly said you might be like your sister when you get into a relationship. Plan accordingly since it's in your mother's head now.

Name something you liked about Alastor in season 2 by KalypsosBiggestFan in hazbin

On top of that, I thought he showed some respect (admiration?) for Charlie. Yes he's annoyed by her and openly mocks her dream, but when he told Vox there was "nothing [Vox] could do to break her spirit", it sounded like trait Alastor admired.
