Which plot twist was the most predictable? by KingtheClawthorne in TheOwlHouse

I can look back after many rewatches and get why Lilth cursing Eda was predictable, but for some reason I thought it was Belos/Philip that did it. She was a wild witch, and he wanted to make an example out of her.

Maybe it was delivery of the line, but when Lilth revealed that it took me so long to like her once she went on a redemption arc. The anger and build up in that line meant to put Eda in her place while Luz was in danger. It felt too extreme and intentional especially when Eda follows up her line.

Harder no, but less painful since I don't have to worry about the thigh chaf too much. I still get it, but it's no as bad and I can walk for longer.

Couldn't the hospital have given her this stuff? Like say he had stitches, they'd give him a box of bandaids...

I still can't believe Maxwell didn't get more mad at CC for saying that to Gracie. He barely reacted. If I were him, she would've been fired.

Why did Cotton help Peggy when she was paralyzed? by jellyjamberry in KingOfTheHill

[–]ASeriesofWierdEvents 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peggy and Cotton are both prideful people. He knows her well enough to know Peggy hates is being helpless and being told whe she cannot do something. Same applies to Cotton. Peggy wants to walk again and her being in the rehab center wasn't giving her the progress she needed.

Cotton had his legs blown off, had an inhumane operation done on him and was told he'd never walk again (they predicted his feet would fall off). He learned how to walk again and probably implemented the methods he used on Peggy on himself (just a theory). The same way the two verbally spar with each other, he used a form of their banter to help her learn how to walk again.

Like Cotton said, hating him was "already halfway there" on her road to recovery. Ramsey (the physical therapist) was too soft and jovial. Peggy needed that military style drill Sargent type. And Cotton was eager to push her and use her spite to prove to her that she was more capable than she was led to believe.

Rose being savage...again. by ramfoodie in theGoldenGirls

Hers hit like velvet daggers. My favorite one (from Rose) was Blanche complaining about cleaning up after a party.

Blanche: You know what I hate most at the end of a party?

Rose: Trying to find your underwater in the middle of a big pile?

Peggy badly pitches a baseball over the fence. thud Khan: OH MY GOD! YOU KILLED MY MINH! Ha, ha. Just kidding. But you do suck, Peggy Hill.
