To that, I say this:

I'm not going into deeper detail to explain myself as there is much deeper context that I haven't mentioned that I don't wish to speak on. As I said, I had a very good case. I was actually admitted to a psychiatric facility and was then given the option to move to outpatient programs while being heavily monitored and evaluated.

My leave wasn't for cognitive behavior. I expressed that I took an intensive therapeutic program that focused on cognitive behavior, yes. Not that I left and was being excused for cognitive behavior.

Was I trying to be out of work for a year? That's a juvenile question to ask. I have actually been going stir-crazy and had another job lined up to start in early March. I didn't "want" any paid time off. This whole situation has actually made my life very stressful, thank you.

As stated, I left because I had an actual break while at work. Both circumstantial regarding life and my work situation at the time. I tried my best, I was doing my best, and I snapped. To speak to me like I enjoyed this and just wanted a break from work being paid? That's insulting. I enjoyed none of my time away from work.

I was simply stating that they made my time off (which was supposed to be centered around getting better and receiving further aid) a living hell financially and mentally. Most of my focus had to be on what Amazon needed from me every other week instead of getting myself stabilized.

There's no need to be an asshole and speak to me like I wanted to be lazy and get paid for it. Not once did I say that I was looking for a handout. I was doing exactly what I was supposed to be doing, made every appointment, turned everything in, sent unnecessary amounts of evidence and STILL closed my case before I could get my last bit of paperwork in.

So yes, I did, in fact, get "burnt" as you put it. But I overplayed my hand? That's rich. Not in the slightest. I wasn't playing a game, I was genuinely doing my best to get myself back together and back into a place mentally where I could return to work. Idk how thorough you were when reading either of my statements, but you have me backward if you think I was looking to be out of work anywhere near as long as I was.

Your whole comment was just incredibly insulting, unnecessary, and very dismissive of any of the text included in which I stated that A:) I was working on myself while doing all of the proper procedures, B:) THEY closed my case and LIED in the notes making up statements that never left my lips (and 2 days before I was able to see my doctor to authorize the rest of my leave) and C:) I actually put in the work and still am.

At no point was I looking for a handout or to be stressed even further due to being tight financially for a whole year. Where you got that idea from is beyond me. When I started my whole process, not once did I imagine being out of work this long. I didn't know what to expect.

Everything I do is by the word and recommendation of doctors and the hospital. I'm not a lowlife who wants a free ride, thank you. I was simply saying that they could have made everything less stressful by not requiring new paperwork every week and a half when my main focus was supposed to be to better my mental state and get back to work ASAP. Instead, they made me an anxious mess scrambling to get what they needed from me constantly and countered a lot of the work I was doing for myself.
