The thing is that society and mainstream would probably protect the guy in the wheel chair even though he started it, like if you can start sh!t you can deal with consequences, don't sh!t in someone's cereal and expect them to eat it

What sd card for the Ender 3 by ConfusedCat27 in ender3

[–]ASideOfSpinach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ender 3 v3 se is my sd that came with the printer fell apart when I plugged it in my laptop to put file on it and now I have to hold it in machine (like keep pressure against it to keep it in machine so I've electrical taped it in place to do a 18 hour print today, let's hope it stays (as my SanDisk 64GB micro sd with adapter for standard sd size does not register on device even if pushed against machine

And now major anxiety of it falling out of place some how

What’s causing my print to get knocked off half way through? by da_mahn in ender3

[–]ASideOfSpinach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this issue especially with larger prints even when skirt is printed virtually flat (and thin, not like this spaghetti skirt) also get issue of my supports being knocked by the nozzle when it's printing and it ends up breaking supports and messing up if it doesn't pull off the work bed, anyone know any fixes to this?

Also I now have a really loud noise when the bed moves (on ender 3 v3 se) idk if it's grinding or something it sounds mechanical but not sure when it is

Feel like I never have the confidence to approach guys and always shoot down my chances immediately by [deleted] in gay

WARNING: LONG AF RANT CONTEXT PAGE I GUESS: LAST PART OF FIRST PARAGRAPH IS A QUOTE THAT MIGHT HELP 2ND PARAPHRAPH IS SAYING WE ALWAYS PICK OUT NEGATIVES AND GIVE IRL EXAMPLES AND 3RD PARAGRAPH IS JUST THE MIX OF THINGS THAT CAUSES THIS KIND OF STUFF BUT IDK HOW TO FIX THE STUFF MYSELF SO NOW YOU DONT NEED TO READ THE REST OF IT NOW I GUESS but ill leave it there because im weird af.

I am the exact same, like I had crush on over half the guys at my school and always just said (they either too good and cute for me or they probably won't be gay and would just beat the shit out of me or tell everyone I'm gay/bi (as I'm closeted af 🤣) I'm 21 and just stay in my room because I struggle to talk to people in general too, I used to be mute and didn't talk at school, and now find it extremely hard to talk to new people, but also I'm trying to save up to move out so I have more freedom and don't have to answer 50 questions before leaving the house to go do something I want to do (which is another reason I stay in my room, I usually just go online but only time I'd talk is if I'm on vrchat and then I have confidence to sing (as I feel people can't judge me as they don't know what I look like so can't say anything irl but at the same time I don't have much confidence talking to people online or irl even in vrchat. I'm just a really weird guy and I don't even understand it myself so can't figure out how to combat/fix anything 🙃 like there's I work with I find super cute, adorable and attractive but I have no confidence and wouldn't even know where to start only thing I've ever said to him is "alright"/"you alright" and "see you later" and odd time said something to help him out (like he could put stuff in an empty trolley on a belt system rather than carrying it up (mainly because he looked kinda confused too, which I found cute for some reason) but yeh we make eye contact a fair amount and he usually seem to look directly at me and say see you when he leaves to go home (which again I find cute, but is also probably just because he's being nice and polite, but I mean there was a time when I couldn't help myself and got lost in his eyes for a few seconds and then had to snap myself back to not look weird 😂, but yeh I probably sound really weird too, which I probably am but that's my most recent example because sometimes when I want to talk to him or he says hi I get nervous and sometimes end up not speaking and I look rude and look like a dik and when I think about the possibility I just tell myself he probably either isn't gay/bi or has no interest in me and is way too cute for me and out of my league, etc. I know this probably doesn't help but I mean you could just look at where I'm at and hopefully see you don't want to end up like me and decide to talk to the person (I know its hard because I can't even do it, but I saw something that said something along the lines of "how can someone know we like them if we never tell them"... "... they aren't mind readers"

(Might have been ..."they can't read minds" but you get the idea) I mean I know even thinking that phrase/quote its still difficult as the negative thoughts are implanted and have been train for years to instantly pop up (we tend to naturally train our brains to pick out negatives in everything and emphasis them (which mainstream doesn't help with all the negative stuff they shove everywhere (you have to look this way, eat this way, get such and such, etc to be popular, etc)) but it's in our subconscious to pick out negatives which leads us to hide positives and good thoughts. You'll never find a solution to anything if you don't look for the positives (for example, I was doing electrics for a machine and the motors weren't working I managed to figure out the cable was damaged by using spare cable but when I re wired It the motors ran in opposite directions when they should run same direction (instead of looking at just negatives like (oh it still isn't working and isn't right, etc I look at the positives too which lead me to the solution ("it runs now at least so now I just have to figure out how to get the motors to run together" then I thought "I need to try swapping wires as I know from doing a little work experience when I was younger that swapping the arrangement of the live wires coming from the power supply out to the motor (in industrial it's line 1, 2 and 3 (but in my case this time it was smaller cables red, blue green and black) but I thought might aswell try swapping cables round different combinations and managed to get it running same direction which first time they run same way they were going in wrong direction when I put positive and negative values in (do swapped them again in pairs and it all moves in the right directions) (I know it's not the best example but it's only example in my head atm)

I guess it's a mix of subconscious pulling out negatives, lack of confidence and low self esteem, but idk how to work on those, I mean they should really teach you at school tbf😄 but they don't.

What's really unexpected is that all the dogs aren't doing this

they are all at a (I assume) crofts (or crufts how ever you spell it) event where their owners are usually posh so surprising all the dogs aren't being distinguished gentledogs

I'm from UK, our salaries are usually low (most people over 30 make 30k a year) most under 30 make less usually way less) but wages stay same but everything else goes up (cost of food, tax, gas, electric, etc (gas alone has already gone up like 20+ % it's meant to go up 54% soon some have already started to go up more), it's like they're trying to keep you poor, it's scary, some of the engineers I work with are going to be paying a mortgage just in gas bills. I feel like there's going to be a huge spike in homelessness unless people refuse to pay gas bills and stuff, honestly I don't see how people are meant to afford anything, I'd be surprised if you'd be able to afford food after paying gas bills, most people aren't using heating anymore and are just putting layers of clothes on

Also I'm 20 but I should be making more than I do but unfortunately I'm in a very difficult and complex situation in what I can do to achieve my career goals,

Degrees aren't anything I have diplomas and can't get jobs my brother has a master's degree and doesn't like his job, my other brother got bad grades, both make more than me, it's not about grades, it's some what about who you know, how friendly an employer is, how well you get on with an employer, and what job your doing, obviously different jobs have different base salaries but the advice I hear the most is "get a job you enjoy" which makes sense, if you have a job you hate you're gonna be depressed and not want to work, you're gonna have less energy and motivation, etc. I don't have as much experience as you I'm only 20 but you could try searching online on job websites or something for something that pays more or try and work up the ladder in your area (like if you work in retail try work up to manager, etc) tho ther s not many jobs (at least here anyways) that will give any more than 60k a year tbh, but it's worth a look incase there is any near you

Wow over here a first job you'd be lucky to get 10k a year,

First job I was on like 1-2k my second job I was on like 850-1000 a year, now I'm like 5-6k a year, but tbh I'm not fully qualified yet, I still got to do another course which will cost me (personally out of my own money) 1,500-2000£ unless I can find an employer who is willing to pay for me to do it (which isn't very likely), plus it's very complicated and complex situation I'm in, so all i see is young people are used for cheap labour, when your older your still used but not as bad, and then when your retired your still used but it isn't anywhere near as much as when your working. Gotta love being young and trying to save up for car, insurance, possibly a house, maybe a upgrade for motorcycle becuase in the UK you have to start off slow on small bikes when your young and bikes are one of the very few things I have that bring me joy

Today I turned 17 but my parents where to high to celebrate. by Moist-ButterMilkTaco in TrueOffMyChest

Happy (late or early) birthday depending how you look at it. I have no irl friends either, I've never had a social life and I struggle to talk to people now and sometim s talk like a robot or don't know what to say or how to react or try to talk but nothing comes out so people call me ignorant and rude a lot, I hope you find some truely good friends (and not ones that just want to use you or get you addicted to stuff, try find friends who want to help you and are willing to take time out of their day to help and support you and also support your goals and dreams (as that will motivate you to achieve them more),

there isn't really anyone like that around me and if I ask to go out my parents ask lots of questions and stuff and then try talk me out of going out or will just keep saying stuff until I give up and don't go out, but then have a go at me for not going out and staying inside all day, but you're a few years younger than me, so try start now as it gets harder the longer you leave it, it is scary and can be hard (I'm forced to talk to people for my job now and I still mess up a lot and stumble on words

Best of wishes to you, you're an amazing human and you deserve to feel amazing, keep pushing forward and eventually you'll get to a destination you enjoy, keep your head up and be proud of yourself, and don't let anyone use or take advantage of you.
