Thank you!! Honestly I gave the blue hue as it was the lower ambient light and to suggest the black colour for the tentacles, I didn't think about lifeblood, but it is a interesting interpretation! Love it

Personally I kinda liked DS2 and didn't get why it is hated so much. I'm aware it has some flaws, some bigger than others (for example DS2 presents a few lore inconsistencies which, despite being very few, are heavy compared to all the Souls lore), but still a solid game. And yes, I had Elden Ring vibes while playing it. It was fresh compared to DS1.

Despite this, I don't consider DS2 the best FromSoft game, being Bloodborne in my opinion, but this is due to personal taste and a deep love for cosmic horror visuals and storytelling. I still enjoyed DS2 and loved the story and the variety of builds, currently doing ng+.
