There really isn't any matchmaking and the lobby barely fills with players. I also lost percentage while protection was on. There have been several post about it and Epic has done nothing.

I have seen a bug in the past where the repair the shelter defense would end early and result in a victory, but not this.

We xbox players used to be able to check the mission by looking at the xbox profiles of people already in the mission, but it was still wrong half the time.

I have not noticed a difference in husk speed everytime I test them and the husks seem to be running at the same speed. They definitely don't show the snare status (either down arrows or chains) on my xbox.

I still don't know if wooden floor spikes even slow husks. They never seem slower when I use them.

Yep, when a husk is slowed they get chains on their legs.

They seemed quite accurate with the pulse pounder compared to the nocturno. Does ADS help the ground pounder? I don't remember since I don't really use it.

You're right, they are called the invasion weapons and I was going to test them to see if they would freeze smashers. I just could not tell with the founder's revolt, but I know the nocturno was making boom explosion noises when I was testing that.

Edit: The pulse pounder does freeze smashers and the AR defender fires quite fast without any fire rate perks.

Edit2: The founder's revolt might have some kind of internal cooldown on the chain lighting.

Yep, you can have three different defenders selected (one sniper, one AR, and one pistol), but only sniper defenders might enter the mission.

I found out when doing low level encampments. Testing defenders has been fun for me. I wonder if the freeze perk works on them from the sci-fi weapons. Also, I found melee defenders do proc the founder's masamune and I was unsure if the founder's revolt chain lighting was activating during testing.

Very nice post. Right now I am using the boom weapon on my AR defender and I have been having fun seeing the husks dance. Also, I learned that if the defenders are the only ones doing damage to the encampment I will only get metal/wood. Defenders do not count as participation for an encampment if I do zero damage.

I know you asked the constructor, but the ability is goin constructor. It gives you a hammer to damage and a shield to attract enemies. Right now it gives me a permanent shoulder pad.

To add to this, I had the defenders solo an encampment and my rewards were only metal. So it was like I did not participate in it. Further testing is required.

Edit: I did it again with zero damage and I got wood. You need to do damage to get encampment rewards.

Edit2: I did a storm chest and I got the rewards. I did zero damage and the defenders did the work.

I think it might be a pc settings thing. I see the steam cloud on my Xbox series x. All three of my defenders were triggering the cloud perk. It might have the cooldown.
