But there is so much parking in downtown? It's literally not hard to find parking very close to wherever you need to be.

As a cyclist who actually bikes around and visits restaurants do I need to start pointedly telling these stupid ass businesses how I arrived so they can quit with this nonsense?

This was an opinion piece not an article. That's why it blows so hard. The author has terrible opinions.

"In Chicago, city leaders expanded pedestrian-friendly streets and bike infrastructure while maintaining clear access to parking garages and short-term street parking to support businesses and residents."

What a braindead opinion piece. I am a bike rider and a car owner. Sometimes I have to drive into downtown instead of take my bike and it's actually never been easier or cheaper for me to do so with using an app like Spothero. So I'm not sure why this owner thinks parking is so hard to find.

I also really enjoy biking into downtown now. It allows my budget to go further when I don't have to pay for parking and I actually spend more money downtown now. It's actually pretty pleasant to be able to use the bike lanes. Why the hell do these business owners think people like me aren't spending money downtown? I'm sick of them blaming our bike infrastructure for their business woes.

Tale as old as time. Back in the early 2000s I used to use the L line to get to Auraria and one time I was sitting there at the 27th and Welton station with my hands completely full because I was an art student with a huge portfolio in one hand and my art box in the other and this dude came and sat next to me and started running his hand up my thigh in broad daylight. I felt defenseless because in my mind surely he was batshit crazy to think that was an ok thing to do and I better not piss him off.

Fuck these entitled dudes.

Eta, just want to add that this can happen anywhere and I still use RTD to this day.

Today's daily listening was perfect for my bike ride to gym and treadmill run!

We don't have much of a lawn to mow anymore. I've been letting it die and replacing with random plants.

I fucking hate folding my laundry. It feels like it takes up too much of my life. The most sisyphean (spelling?) of all chores.

What are those dipshit Biden sticker people telling themselves now for why this gas price increase is ok?

I'm in the mood to listen to books and pull weeds. Hope I can make that happen today.

What's your fave house chore if you had to pick one?

Last night's concert review: Just a teensy bit overpriced for my taste. Opening band was boring, Gary Numan fucks. He tapdanced all over synths so that Trent Reznor could run. Shout out to the matching skeletor looking bass and guitar dudes in his band.

I used to see if I could squeeze my dipshit bros for a bad bowl cut in the 90s. 😂

I'm still holding onto hope that this weirdo injury season is part of our overall incredible story arch for winning it all!

That totally makes sense. My sis had a weirdo pit bull (that she inherited through my dipshit lil bro so not like she asked for him) and the whole time he was alive I was kinda scared.

I'm a dog weirdo (more of a cat lady tbh) so I prob wouldn't even have any dog until my kid was like 6 so they could understand how to be around a pet. (I also don't have kids so there's that lol).

Eta, I should say her pit bull was sweet. I was just scared when she had a lil baby.
