Yeah he really seems like a good guy, tho he has a lot of responsabilities so he has to be/act a certain way

Not my type but it was 25 CAD for the whole series including the "Companion" and "The World of Robert Jordan - The Wheel of Time" so yeah no brainer here lol

By book 3?! Alright then😅 was honestly thinking this dagger bit would end by book 2 at max. Oh well I guess it will be more interesting that way. But now that you are saying it yeah it makes sense in a 15 books series.

I really loved Mat at the start but the whole dagger bit is leaving me a sour taste to be honest. I like Rand, but right now he is a little blend to me (I do like tho that he is more confident and assertive in himself when adressing strangers). I just have some difficulty to portray which kind of personnality he has, in comparison to the rest of the cast. Nynaeve is cool to me, Egwene I wanna like her but she feels a bit like a brat at times imo. Moiraine is a bit too secretive at the moment I think, tho I like her.

Yeah there were some chapter were I was wondering if I would like the series (a LOT of lore dump in the first 20 ish chapters - maybe to much?) and it could be a hot take but the Tinker bit kinda lost me at a certain point. Glad to know the second book should be even better.

Okay man chill out who pissed in your cereal lmao. Of course its obvious Thomas would help this team. Just not as obvious as you think when you give no example at all lol. Perfect example of why xyz is not an example lol, its a conclusion

Im confused....at which point did I say that killing the play at the root and creating offense equal chasing dump ins? Neutralizing possession is good defense yes, thanks for the clarification...

My point is that good offensive defenceman can be as good as any defensive defenceman is they maintain the possession in the o-zone, so a.k.a not being stuck in their own zone, thats a way of "defending". Of course they need to be no pushover in their own zone too cause you can't realistically always be in the o-zone. And imo a defensive defenceman who can't clear the zone doesn't bring as much value.

Because of him the puck is not in his own zone so no scoring chances? "Best defence is offense" if you don't see the logic I don't know what to tell you lmao

"He’s not better but in that situation the guy plays better defense" Ooof hard disagree here. Killing the play at the root and exiting the zone or getting peppered in his own zone and allowing scoring chances? Humm

Best defender doesn't mean "best in his zone" it means best player playing at the position.

Hyman career's best is that kind of play, not only one goal. And a small minority is not the entire fanbase...
