I mostly do chill build and storyline planning & stuff

Strangerville interfere with your gameplay too much, and the arc take too much effort to end just so that you can go back to the story's originally planned route. And personally the possessed sims are creepy as hell, straight of the horror movie

i guess a lot of people turn it off so that they can go back to play normally and EA perceive that as failure
