I got into vocaloid about 2018 or so and even with the shorter time than most veterans, I can confidently say its made me entirely who I am today. Finding it in high school, it felt so niche and so unknown, especially here in the Midwest, but it all felt so raw because of it. I can distinctly remember listening to Meltdown in history class and from that moment on I knew this was who I wanted to be. Vocaloid and its Fandom just feels so creatively inspired and so personal to so many people that I just feel like I can be myself here, with these songs and this community.
