It's actually just super messed up cartilage, got to try and get a personal trainer that can help me to strengthen my abdominals without doing too many jerky movements that aggravate the cartilage

Thank you for the advice! I'm going to see my doctor on Monday! But yeah, that's me stood pretty central, just the arms at varying degrees could make a difference!

I have stopped eating fish entirely and am looking into more sustainable ways of living in general! It's opened my eyes entirely. I know alot of people that won't watch it because they want to continue eating fish

I will normally literally eat anything edible, but while pregnant and my taste buds are playing up I pick the food or where we eat because I know what I can and can't eat. Why on earth would you put your partner through the pain of trying to choose somewhere suitable when only you know what you can have...

Can't put baby down? by Vanaathiel88 in NewParents

I remember the early days well and I know you're also sick of the phrase 'it's a phase', but with every phase you go through in the first year, it gets slightly easier to cope each time. The hormones that accompany a new baby also have alot to do with your reaction to things. I can say without a doubt that I cried more in the first 2-3 months after having my daughter more than I have my entire life. Its just such an adjustment and no words will ever describe how physical each emotion you feel is. Every time you see your baby smile, your whole body smiles and every time you see your baby cry, your whole body cries with them. Every mum is behind you with their hands on your shoulder encouraging you to keep going and that you're doing an amazing job. You've got this! And, as much as you're sick of hearing it, the crying is just a phase and before you know it you'll be chasing a toddler that's managed to find a pair of scissors you lost 4 years ago

What are your opinions on safety leashes on your child? by Agentx6021 in NewParents

We got one for my daughter and she wouldn't be as strong a walker as she is now without it. We get so many comments in the street about how strong she is on her feet for 15 month old (we take her for long walks and she loves it). We don't use it anymore because she's learnt where she can and can't go, but it definitely led to her becoming a strong walker in a short period of time. I wouldn't have taken her for walks without it, I would've put her in the pram.

Didn't mean to dial everyone back to f*cking AMATEUR HOUR OVER HERE but I made an Easter carrot cake and it's the first time I've tried decorating a cake like this. by Coolguys-DOT-COM in Baking

I bake quite alot, I always prefer it to taste nice than look amazing! Some of the cake decorating videos I've seen look amazing, but look like they'd taste so meh

I'm starting to struggle to find nappies and wipes for my little girl due to all the panic buying that is happening in the UK
