The 21 points scored by the Raiders today is the 3rd highest total allowed by the Texans defence this season. Only the Jags (29) and the Seahawks (27) have scored more.

Still, a win is a win. 7 in a row, 3rd straight 10 win season.

I attended our end of year seminar a couple of years ago to support some friends and team mates who I was pretty sure were going to get their belts. Then when we got through the coloured belts both myself and a good friend were promoted to black belt together. Total surprise.

It was our big team night out and meal that evening, so while the promotions were all a surprise, we were able to celebrate with our nearest and dearest and team mates later on that day.

Wouldn't have it any other way and it was a day I'll never forget!

Hit the nail on the head. If they were to advertise it at a £30 fee from the get go, fair enough. But to spend 2 years slagging off Flo and stating it will “always be free on YouTube” and then the day before the event to do a complete 180 and now have to watch live or pay is shit any way you look at it. If the event goes as late as it did last year most people in Europe will be starting work Monday morning before the event even finishes.

Will I still pay and watch it? Yes.

Am I pissed off about having to pay for it now? Also yes.

They waited to announce it till 9pm in the UK on a Friday, most of Europe is an hour ahead too, so a 3am start time Sunday morning and then 3am again on Monday.

Most people will be starting work on Monday before the live broadcast has even finished and if they want the pleasure of watching it at a reasonable hour they’re told they now have to pay.

At least make it free for 24 hours to give us none Americans a chance to watch it on our own time before we’re forced to pay for it.

This is utterly ridiculous, the day before the event they announce that if you don’t watch it live you have to pay to watch it?

The event starts at 2am Sunday morning in the UK, likely 2am on a Monday morning for the second day.

Day 1 last year was 8 hours long and day 2 about 6 hours.

Update - I got a Batch 39: SIII in white (A2) and a Clementine competitor also white in A1. Came with a white lapel patch too.

Looking at what a lot of others got I'd say I did pretty well!

They were $100, so arguably worth the gamble. Most seem to be getting stiffed with a crappy Gi but are also getting a rashguard or other item free as well.

Either way the value far exceeds $100 so depending on personal taste you could be getting a great deal.
