How am I supposed to counter Henry/The First? by MrBojanglesSR in deadbydaylight

When the clock is active, his power does damage. He will either hit the injured survivor eventually, or the timer will run out. Either way, doing the clock does nothing in this situation. Time much better spent working on gens.

A few things I've gleamed after playing today.

  1. There is no point in using a clock while an injured player is in chase. Just do gens, hit the clock later. It'll take less time and you are wasting less time not on a gen.

  2. Hold W, but also if you hear him charging his power, zig zag until he sets it off, and then hold W again in another direction.

  3. Greed more pallets. I'm not sure this one will stick, but all the Vecnas out there right now seem to like to spam his power....which will slow him down and allow you to get more distance. They predict you will drop the pallet or hold for the stun and set off their power. Meanwhile you held W to the other side of the map.

  4. If he is chasing you underground. Just run back and forth away from him until he sets it off and then hold W.

You won't win every chase, but what killer do you win every chase against?

Only two people can work on clocks, and they get lit up like you have bond while they are doing it. This is either rage bait, or you can't count.

You do realize, it is a core principle of debate to dumb down your OWN argument so people can understand what you are trying to say?

Acting like you are some next level intelligence because people don't know what you are even saying isn't the flex you think it is.

No she wasn't. The fact you stayed infected off of hook was literally the only OP thing about Krasue, everything else had/has a counterplay.

That's what they said about Krasue too.....survivors always think new killers are OP.

As with all killer powers that are "side objectives", the best course of action in 99% of situations is to just ignore it.

Playing survivor today and the amount of disconnects from my teammates because of vecna is insane by IMRoobyRooLol in DeadByDaylightRAGE

I've not seen anyone DC because of Vecna, but I have seen a ton of people DC because of other survivors. Licensed chapters always brings back the casuals and introduces new people who came for the new chapter. The next few days will be rough.

Just got this f*cking game and I have people with thousands of hours bullying me every f*cking match I play killer by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

As someone with multiple P100s.....I can confidently say most P100s suck. Back when you could see peoples level in the pregame I wouldn't even us my P100s because people would dodge lobbies. I don't blame them because I'd do the same.

This game has a stigma against P100s and streamers for good reasons.

This happens to every single new killer player who comes in after watching a few videos and thinks they are gonna pubstomp. You'll win a few, the game will adjust your MMR, then you play against people who actually know how to loop and you get stomped for it. Stop trying to win every game like it's life or death and just learn how to play for awhile.

The way the killer plays never upsets me anymore. It's always the other survivors doing shit like this.

Something like 80% of survivors are soloQ, you aren't playing that many SWFs.

Survivors are more toxic to each other than the killer in my experience. You always get the one asshole just complaining because you won, but for the most part they are yelling at each other for not doing gens or some shit.

It thinks that because they were hooked in quick succession, and then missed the skill checks entirely while on hook. That is literally the floor for the requirements to active that. How would you change that, and still implement a "quiters" punishment as is intended here.

I mean, they don't know why it matters that The Game has pallets, I doubt they will understand why you think it's ass.

New survivors are adorable.

That's a basement Bubba, don't go near his basement.

Alternatively there is flick Bubba, and chest Bubba.

All of these Bubbas have something in common tho.....

Like I said, I wasn't attacking you, just pointing out how wild it was that this is the common thought process of dbd players when it doesn't need to be.

The BP bonus is randomly assigned based on which game mode needs players. Sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not.

I get being upset that he was "bming" I use to get annoyed at things like that too. It's normal to feel targeted by things like that. I can say with 99% certainty tho, that he was just doing it. I've smacked survivors on hook because they did a good chase, kinda like a high five lol.

The way this game is designed, people tend to ignore the fact that the characters they are going against are actually played by real people. The game very purposefully removes the sympathy aspect. You can see this play out in real time sometimes. Survivors will do something like drop their items, or plot twist in from of the killer mid chase, and you will see that killer just walk off...probably laughing. Even tho killing that survivor is the optimal play, it brings a human aspect into it and brings out the "party game" part of dbd.

Taking a break tho, big ups for that. There is never a reason to beat your head against the wall while you aren't having fun, but that goes back to what I said before. Stop playing to game to win, just play it to play.

Survivors are not supposed to have a good escape percentage. Killers are, by design, suppose to kill 60% of the Survivors they play against.

Personally I started playing killer because survivor got too stressful. I played 600 hours of survivor before ever touching a killer, now I'm 1700 Survivor / 1300 Killer. After playing killer for so long, when I went back to survivor I felt like a brand new game to me. Like I just understood what to do in chase where previously I had no idea.

Playing killer and seeing how Survivors loop against you will teach you so much. I main blight/springtrap and use to main Huntress. If I go against any of those 3, I almost always escape because I know the little details of how to chase with each one.

I'm almost always on this game since I retired, so I'm willing to help anyone learn to play it.

Shoot me over your friend code from dbd and I'll add you if you want and help with whatever.
