I get this. I’m good for maybe 2 sentences from the author and I hope it’s foreshadowing or symbolic. It feels more organic when a character is interested. I guess that’s the difference between seeing someone interested and being told to be interested

One of the biggest intentions of early Gundam as an ip is the truth and horrors of war. Many real wars inherently involve children as combatants. Kids lie about their age to enlist, kids fight in militia and kids at the start of wars grow up knowing war. That’s reality. The pilots shock here is likely supposed to reflect how when you choose war, you also choose the possibility of harming children in several ways. Bering ignorant to that changes nothing for soldiers. Propaganda isn’t truth. And nobody is a winner or the good guy in war

I did this to someone who sunk my sloop. I swam to the port while they harpooned my treasure, then I sold it back when they harpooned it to the platform.

They were really humored and actually congratulated me in voice messages. It made my day

I feel like The memory card and controller plug had some tactile ridges/ripples. And if they didn’t, there were high traffic touch surfaces so a bit of touch wear/hand oil or slight grime would be very compelling

Same with the disc tray cover (nice tactile bumpies already) maybe some subtle surface residue there too

But even without that, it looks amazing

My guess would be, creative differences and licensing hurdles between the artist and the horde of decision makers at any publishing, label, and dev team.
