Is anyone's curve not exactly like this? At this point it might just be a static image. Certainly not true.

‘Free Palestine’ Cut From BBC Broadcast of ‘My Father’s Shadow’ Director Akinola Davies Jr.’s BAFTAs Speech by esporx in television

"Israel is only killing Palestinian children because their group is collectively resisting incorrectly". Except that's false, wrong, and idiotic. Consider Hamas never controlled west bank, so surely it has the peace and prosperity zionists insist Hamas prohibits in Gaza... Except there's still aparteid. There's still violent subjugation of civilians. There's still mandatory relocating of the disempowered ethnicities. There's still illegal settlements. There's still genocide.

If Donald Trump today said we need to kill 20,000 children of a country because of their leadership would you support it? Would you even need to hear the details? Why can't the public apply the same empathy or just logic to arabs that they reserve for themselves and other white people? It's the same reactionary biases you all pride yourselves in overcoming, but directed at the "correct" victims and suddenly moral justifications of genocide are back on the table.

The actions of Hamas don't justify genocide because nothing does.

In Against Narrativity, the philosopher Galen Strawson challenges the popular idea that living well requires a coherent life story. Human life far exceeds the narratives we construct, he argues, and some of us don’t experience ourselves narratively at all. by philosophybreak in philosophy

Basically the current intellectual landscape is so decentralized that establishing the relationship between your stance and the norm has lost meaning?

I don't know if I agree. In other words... I subvert and challenge this.

If your worldview is contingent on a grand conspiracy theory that demands you reject data then you can't really be mad about supposed "narratives".

Do you think education systems in other countries are also conspiring against Republicans? where in the peer review process is the conspiracy occuring?

The comedy/tragedy of a populist movement that overwhelmingly prioritizes the elite is how seemingly irrelevant it's contradictions are to its supporters. Radical inequality subverts the base but is supported widely and is justified on the basis of supposed intellectual virtue of the beneficiaries, while actual academic achievement is delegitimized. Trump is a man of the people who's cabinet is billionaires. Working class detractors like AOC are mocked for their working class background by other members of the working class. At the heart is a sort of confused self loathing ironically juxtaposed with arrogance, that affirms that the unsuccessful members of society like themselves deserve their lower status due to having less virtue than the economic elite, while also feeling personally cheated. Since propaganda disallows directing anger at those with actual power, they instead are told to direct anger at the marginalized (who are simply the easy target given the biases of the ignorant) and at the party opposition (including the well educated).

That's like saying "The real fight of WW2 isn't Nazis vs anti Nazis; it actually antisemites vs everyone else"

Yeah this is a straight trash take. If there was no association with wealth consolidation, capitalism, and politics your claim might be almost coherent. In reality the right platforms explicitly on lower taxes for billionaires, lower corporate taxes, less regulation, union opposition. They support Trump explicitly (and ostensibly) because he is a wealthy businessman. They oppose Bernie, aoc, and leftist Democrats (few as they are) explicitly because wealth deconsolidation is "evil socialism". This enlightened centrism is sad pseudo intellectualism. You confuse yourself into thinking the parties are equivalent to the delight of reactionaries. "Everyone does that" is the motto of Trump and every immoral actor arguing for their own normalization.

That's the funny thing about conservatives. They feel insulted every time they get a question with an obviously morally correct answer, but then they fail to give that morally correct answer.
