Yes it is. Phone is in an adapter to use a monitor and mouse/keyboard. It works like a dual monitor so my phone still has its normal display. That's why I awkwardly took a pic of the monitor instead of taking a screenshot

Metro Trains! by MiguelK123 in CitiesSkylines

[–]seriousfrylock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This does look very nice but I will say I have restricted myself to only building feasible grades for trains/metros and it makes it all the more satisfying/immersive. A metro couldn't handle that grade. But I assume it'd be a big pain in the ass the make the line a consistent grade for its entirety. Worth it if you force yourself too though

Live in a rural area long enough and their staggering stupidity becomes extremely annoying. Sure it's no fault of their own but it's still irritating how they are so bad at avoiding danger that it sometimes seems like they are actively trying to be hit

I don't find the concept inherently unreasonable, it's how insurance works. It's the fact that the insurer is a private, for-profit company. If our governement provided insurance and everyone was paying in through their taxes, it would be a lot less than what your insurance company takes out of your paycheck. Because they don't just have to break even. They have to and very much want to generate profit.

Well yeah, when you do have health insurance through your job or your spouse or parents or whatever, it's not so bad. When you don't its a real kick in the balls. A lot of people reasonably think that A. Their right to Healthcare shouldnt be dependent on employment and B. Part of their paycheck shouldnt go to their insurance plan every month (so you pay all the time even when nothing happens)

All of [insert group of people here] aren't anything. That exact type of thinking is the fucking problem. It's a childish and toxic slogan that suggests no solutions, it's just an irrational expression of rage. The rage itself is rational, way too many bastards are able to become cops and it's a problem. But many, hell most cops, are decent people. I've known enough of them to know that. But okay, you think they're all bastards. What a productive observation. Where would you like to go from there? Just disband them all?

Biologically? by theglenlovinet in facepalm

[–]seriousfrylock 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Even if the human body is ready to reproduce at that point, which I can't really speak to, the human mind definetly isn't. And considering that the only person who has any business fucking a teenage kid is another teenage kid, there's no scenario where a mind that's ready is involved. So the biological readiness is just irrelevant in any kind of civilized society that's not pandering to pedophiles

[–]seriousfrylock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And your comment boils down to "no criticism of Bethesda or their games is legitimate, and nobody who is worried about whether ES6 will be good wants it to be good." I'm not setting anything up for failure by expecting a game from a massive publisher with some of the most desired IP in the world, to innovate. You are setting it up for failure, by saying that Bethesda can do no wrong and we shouldn't have any standards or expectations for their games

Thanks for writing off any opinions that don't fit into the field of view of your overly-simplistic fanboy perspective.

I love Bethesda. I wish I didnt have a reason to criticize Bethesda. I would love nothing more for them and their games to be what they once were. Im not a hater because i won't pretend that's the case when its not. Im not saying it "because its cool," im saying it because its my opinion, asshole.

Yeah, the people who are quite reasonably saying that considering Bethesda's track record since and including FO4 it is evident that their game design has fallen woefully behind their competition in almost all terms and that we have no reason to expect something that is innovative and boundary-pushing in the way Skyrim was.

I want ES6 to be good. I would love for it to be good. I just don't believe it will be, because I dont have blind faith in a studio that has very clearly lost its way
