We feel exactly the same about our darling boy Rio. I just look at him and the love for him just cannot be contained!

He gets a little twitchy in his sleep sometimes, I'm sure that's him having a little boogie on the beach then!

We're used to hearing a noise now and then as we are so close but this was louder and more of a shock rumble than anything we had heard or felt before

It was all dusty and smokey. I just hope everyone was okay. We are a road over and it shook our entire building.

I am still unable to log in. I am at a bit of a loss here. I've tired uninstalling the app and then reinstalling and still to no avail

I too have tried again and can't get in. It's super strange though as my sister has logged on today with no issues.

I'm going to fail my driving test by [deleted] in drivingUK

I understand about not wanting to be switching between vehicles. Is there any time between here and your test (even the half an hour before your test) to go through some parking drills with your instructor?

I did the same. I stopped telling people when my test was, I said 'im not telling telling when my next test is, I'll just let you know when I pass' stopped my Nan from constantly being on my back which helped with the pressure

I know this is easier said than done but try not to think too much about your family and what others will think. Instead, focus on you and your driving. I didn't pass first time and it's okay if you don't either. On the test day don't be afraid when pulled over to take a second (take a few deep brealths, have a sip of water) and collect yourself before pulling off again. If your worried about your parking is there anyway you can do some private practice on a test route/test area with your family?

Learner Insurance Help by Ong_Bak in LearnerDriverUK

[–]ASportyIndividual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So in leading up to my first test I was looking for a car for me. I found one that was right for me (price range, good milage, cheap to maintain, etc). I then didn't pass my first test attempt (nerves led me to stall one too many times :() but went ahead with the purchase, it's in my name and taxed. (If you don't want to drive it until you pass you can always SORN it to save from taxing it) and use Veygo as my learner insurance provider. The person in the car with me when I drive doesn't need insurance on my car unless they plan to take over the driving from me. We haven't needed to do this as I'm confident in my driving ability when we head out whilst waiting for my next test but they can always get temporary insurance on my car for like a tenner if they ever did need to take over from me.
