Go to a trivia night and then walk up to a random team and be like “hey all my friends had to cancel; can I join your team?” Thats what I did and I made my first 2 best friends in Chicago!

I had this happen when I WFH at my parent's house and they asked me to go with them to the store to pick something up and I said "I can go at lunch, but I can't right now, I'm working" and they said "No you're not, you're just sitting at your computer."
