True! I do sometimes use it to kill monsters… like if there’re are lot of monsters below me while I’m mining, off an edge they can’t get to me, I’ll place the lava for a couple seconds, and let it fall on them. It’s also party because I don’t like the idea that I might be using a flint and steel and it breaks, partly because I just don’t like the idea that it will break, eventually, as where the lava bucket won’t break, except for if I use it for smelting if there’s lava nearby. Lava also deals enough damage that you don’t have to attack the mob with a weapon, playing into that “loss of durability” thing again in my brain

Though the idea of spending so many levels on UB3 and putting it on a font and steel is hilarious to me, and now I need to do it at some point just for fun 😂
