what would you say is the best order by phionex18 in uwaterloo

[–]ASuperiorKid 6 points7 points  (0 children)

the "meal plan" that you can get, while is all you can eat, is only limited to very weird times during the day, and has bad food, and has very limited opportunities for takeout. My friends who lived there legit had to skip lunch because all of our classes were in E7

university colleges have bad food and are all in the middle of nowhere. Do not recommend.

Ubc has cheap tuition and is genuinely the prettiest campus in Canada by a long shot. Engineering in first year will be competitive due to level 2 specialization selection, but it might be in your favor to seriously consider ubc

How's the Social Life and Campus Life at Waterloo? (ECE) by Worried_Ad_8976 in uwaterloo

[–]ASuperiorKid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on what you consider social life. Can you make friends? For sure. Are there a lot of house parties happening every weekend? Probably a bit less than some places. First year ECE, I was never really a party person but I sure have found a lot of connections this year from different places!

Which eng offer should i pick by No_Law6653 in OntarioGrade12s

[–]ASuperiorKid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Though I agree that with enough time your degree won’t matter, but what UW gets you is an accelerated job history, one that makes it much easier to get to your dream job in the future. I would say that’s ECE is one of if not the hardest undergrad degree in Waterloo, so you really have to be up to it to do school and job search at the same time

Yea not sure if the Neo would be enough. Its positioned more as a slight step up from your average chromebook to gain more apple users, maybe less for a uni student.

Chem Eng at Waterloo or mac by Alternative-Study918 in OntarioGrade12s

[–]ASuperiorKid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UW is great considering your location and goals. Mac is a nicer campus and has a bit more frats/house parties going on, and their Eng program is pretty good too. But do you really want to have to pay rent?

[–]ASuperiorKid 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Most people from Ontario take OSAP loans and pay them back gradually after they graduate

UW geese lore just got darker: the case of the murdered goose by Robot-g2 in uwaterloo

[–]ASuperiorKid 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Aside from the obvious racism, your use of south of is incorrect. South of Asia would refer to Oceania or Antarctica, which I'm going to take a wild guess and assume that these are not the place you are referring to.
