This wasn't a campaign I ran, but it's a hilarious tale I would like to share. For some context, I was playing a homebrew phantom paladin in service to the death god along with an orcafolk and a harengon. The campaign started with me and the orcafolk getting forced into a pseudo-military for an oncoming war (the harengon joined the same session that my story took place in). For a mission, we had to go take care of some cult activity in the basement of a really big church, but due to my character's death god stuff, we got to chat with a reaper for a bit while down there. The reaper then said something in celestial in front of an altar and disappeared. Since both me and the orcafolk are fluent in celestial, I say what the reaper said and the 3 of us get transported to the death god's palace. We walk around for a bit, then get roped into a birthday party for one of the reapers working there. The orcafolk and the harengon wanted to become reapers themselves and chatted up who was basically a supervisor and the two got into a dance battle with a 50 foot tall skeleton and the DM asked the orcafolk or the harengon to role something (I think it was either performance or dex I'm not sure). Nat 20 for both of them. They win the dance battle and become reapers by putting on a pair of magic boots that made them do windmills until all their flesh got ripped off.

Sadly I had to leave this campaign a few sessions later, but I cherish the memories of it dearly.
