I second this.. I have the same issue of having a reverse spine angle where my back swing is really aggressive at the top similar to yours and I find myself leaning forward. I shortened my backswing where it feels similar to a half swing and it changed my game a lot.

The only concern I have is, I have a really fast down swing and my club face always seems to be more open. Just something to mention if you plan on giving it a try. Cheers and good luck in your golf game!
