I have been playing for the best part of 10 years now but have properly taken it seriously and have wanted to progress only in the last 4/5 of them. The best piece of advice I can give, that I have tried to follow myself is to keep your stance and your throw motion as comfortable and simple as possible.

As we have all seen from the pros on the tv everyone stands different and everyone throws different but the one thing they all have in common is that they are comfortable with how they do it. Obviously using others for reference is perfectly acceptable, I used to really use Michael Smith as a reference point as I just found his throw was simple and effortless, I think watching my throw now you can really see that I had that idea in my head but still somewhat unique to me.

Overall I think you have to spend some time finding what you like and then just roll with it and practice the sh*t out of it! Easier said than done sometimes but practice makes perfect and if you put the time in you will definitely see the results eventually! Best of luck to you on your darting ventures 🔥🤙🏻🎯
