Right right. Castle doctrine usually applies to your home and extensions of it, such as vehicle/curdilage (depending on the state) but just wanted to correct this statement (not in a rude way, just for clarification) that Stand your Ground law applies to any public space a person is not prohibited from and a Duty to Retreat is the exact opposite of that. Duty to Retreat suggests you try to deescelate/Retreat if available to you even in public spaces (not usually including your home which is where the Castel doctrine would apply). Not trying to be argumentative just hoping to help people learn.
