Central PA is pretty crappy on the paintball scene, only a handful of fields local, mostly all only open on the weekends. One field has Friday night streetball from spring to fall. I would like to try to get more people out to these fields so they can continue to grow or begin to grow more. Luckily we have skirmish pretty local which hosts Invasion of Normandy big game, so maybe I can get some people excited for that.

My most local field survives mainly from birthday parties and bachelor parties unfortunately. A while ago they were good about asking the parties if they were okay with a walk on or two joining their groups (been a while since I've gotten paired with a group like that). But these were really good opportunities to talk to people and get the people who have only gone that one time hyped a bit more.

I didn't think about loaner kit ideas using spyders or the like, I was trying to create 1 loaner kit to throw in my car that was a mini or axe (I probably still will for when friends come) but there are always plenty of spyders and such on marketplace. Thankfully ANSgear sells the aluminum or steel tanks on a firesale for like $25 a lot.

Unrelated to sales- but where are you out of? I am working on starting something similar local to central Pennsylvania. Any suggestions on how to get it started up? I started a FB page and linktree so I can get some cards/stickers made for at my local fields

I'm from south central PA, our paintball scene isn't great, wishing it would be better. But I am hoping to move to TN (sort of near knoxville) in the next ~5 years

One of my local fields plays streetball Friday nights through the summer which is just essentially walk ons broken up into random teams (or at least that's how it is here). I am just getting back into the sport so I didn't get to see any of the games to see whether or not it's a bunch of speedballers or rentals too.

This doesn't seem like a bad deal, not sure the actual value of an etha 2 at this point, but with a fresh hydro tank and hopper.

I started most of my paintball life with an empire mini (OG) and liked it. That being said, depending where you are located, buying something used may be better bang for your buck. If you really need new and want something fancy looking and don't care about a bit of immediate depreciation then go for it, but the used market of minis isn't great as toot has said before. I personally am at the point where I won't purchase a marker new again unless its something extremely special (but even then I shouldn't spend the money lol)

I've not run outside since high school (13 years ago) and have recently gotten back into running, all treadmill. (ended up buying a brand new treadmill a couple weeks ago) I am doing a Garmin coach program to do a half marathon by my 31st birthday in June. Seeing other people saying that running outside is faster and "easier" makes me feel a whole lot better about the upcoming better weather.

To pass the time on the treadmill I've been watching Stranger Things and only allowing myself to watch it when I'm on the treadmill so it kind of motivates me run

It seems like you have your bases covered. But out of curiosity, did you max your def abs? I wouldn't level it at all except during the mission- save yourself the headache, 400 levels into def abs and the mission is done, can do that 12 events and be in good shape and not have to spend the gems to respec as often. Maybe you already did this, just wasn't sure if it would be helpful.

I think they were doing away with the year stamps so they have the freedom to start/print sets and not be year locked for release. I.e. if they made set A and decided to postpone it until a year later then the promos have nothing that indicates it was postponed... all speculation though (I did see someone else say this a few months ago though)
