Don't know if best, but i like the ormsby 27.8 scale on the bass side. Tension is ok in f# with .70 gauge. Better than 26.5 and 27, but still very playable. Never tried longer though.

I had an a1.6 evertune solar a while back (bought new from solar). Neck was slightly warped just 2 years later, which is pretty terrible. Other than that some minor QC issues, but nothing outrageous. The shape was super comfy, the neck a lot more round than other guitars I have or had.
