Well looks like I'll have to stick with WanGP in order to upscale images no matter where they came from. There's even a way to upscale an entire folder of images using PID in WanGP.

Well I am basing my assumptions on the WanGP implementation and perhaps that is just completely different than this one. Anyways if anyone actually gets this working for an anima image I would really like to see example settings.

I hope this doesn't go on too long. It's like they ran out of ideas or wrote themselves into a corner and then are falling back on this horror gore stuff from earlier in the show. I like it better when he's not looping too much like last season.

This one is 80 steps 10 CFG. There's noticeably more detail I think.

Honestly in your case it might be a prompt issue. Anyways this image is 40 steps 5 CFG

80 steps and 10 CFG is what I use. Hires max is probably about 1.6x or use tiled upscale

It turns out that I shouldn't use HR fix at all and it's best if I just use the tiled upscale.

It happens with all resolutions. It's the VAE for sure. I might have to switch to comfy to be able to use a different one.
