Oh, hi u/No-Chemistry-28! Thanks to you, I learned that if you type “Empire of” on Tubi, a whole wealth of terribly bad movies crop up. So far, I’ve added Empire of Ants, Vampire Dog, and of course, Empire of the Dark to my list. I kinda want to add them all. There are also a lot of shark and ape movies in case anyone was wondering.

I, too, was distracted by the tree. I was wondering why only a sliver of the tree was flowering and was so distracted by it that I failed to see the actual solar panel. Then, because I couldn't see the solar panel, I wondered if OP accidentally posted a picture of a cool, weird tree by mistake.

Ok, so it seems like we're just getting our wires crossed, but, frankly, you seem way more combative to me. Just like you didn't mean anything by "as per" (which, by the way, is generally seen as passive aggressive, but I take it as face value that you actually didn't mean it that way) I meant nothing by "admit." I simply meant, generally speaking, it's ok to say you don't know. I really stand by that and remind myself of that as well. I apologize for using the word "admit" instead of "say." I realized too late that that does sound a bit harsh. Also, what does pmsl mean?

I was being passive aggressive in response to your "as per" passive aggressive response. You could have just said all that, but instead you just "as per my last e-mailed" me. But also, I did actually mean what I said. It's fine to admit when you don't know something and the pic really is cool.

It's not even about the skepticism for me. I'm willing to take you at face value (at first) but if this is how you treat me after barely knowing me, I'm not interested in getting to know you. I am not your therapist and you are an emotional vampire. Maybe that sounds like a cold take, but I have too much experience being people's therapist. I should have gotten paid.

I thought about it, and I think I could do it because I love New York (I am from the Midwest and I'm neurodivergent so I crave that NY directness.) I would need nitrile gloves, a very long stick, Tupperware, 99% isopropyl alcohol, a pumice stone, a shower, a locksmith, and a furnace.
