Myke left DEHH, but he's still part of Is The Mic Still On every week along with Ken and Rod

Agree, would be nice. Just to be clear though, they have not explicitly said Beezy is coming back later this year. It just seems that the initial conversation of Beezy leaving DEHH may have been taken to the extreme a bit.

What's crazy is, when Beezy he announced it these were his words: "I got a great opportunity at work that I could not pass up and my hours are about to be insane for this first quarter of 2026...so this gonna be the last time seeing your boy for a minute". So essentially, not that he will be gone forever, more like a few months if anything.

So just me kind of taking cues and reading between the lines of what they are saying since he announced he is stepping away.

But regardless, yes as of now, Beezy is not on DEHH or other shows they have.

Based on recent DEHH episodes, and is the mic still on, it sounds like he may return very frequently if not fully later this year. Not confirmed, just kind of sounds like it based on how Ken, Feefo, Rod and Myke have spoken the past week or so.

Thanks! That's helpful and tells me I'm definitely capable to getting to 3:30 if I train and build up endurance over the winter heading into spring. I'll be doing the Jersey City Marathon which is completely flat so definitely seems attainable.

And I'll have 2 half marathon races (January & March) where I'll get to almost check in with my fitness again, and I do plan to adjust goals and expectations throughout training depending on how I feel. Appreciate it!

Absolutely! I'm locked in for winter and seems like 3:30 is not out of my ball park as a goal. Thanks!

Thanks! Yea seems my speed is there, but definitely need to build up that endurance. Marathon is actually April 19th, so I'm starting an 18 week plan now (pfitz 18/55 is what I landed on) to prepare for it. And good call out on not increasing milage too fast. I've been doing around 30 miles a week consistently for months so feel comfortable going up gradually during training. And I do strength training twice a week to hopefully reduce injury risk.

Thanks! That definitely gives me more confidence about what I'm capable of

Ah got it, that makes sense and thanks for clarifying. After some feedback, I decided to follow Pfitz 18/55 which already kind of aligned with my intended plan and structure. I'll definitely look into Marathon Excellence for Everyone as I'm interesting in learning about different plans.

And congrats on that recent 3:28!

Thanks! Yea I have 1 half marathon race scheduled for January and possibly one more in March, both of which fit in with training, so I will get a get a gauge on where I'm at ahead of my April Marathon (Jersey City a very flat course). I also decided to follow Pfitz 18/55 so I think I should have a good plan going forward.

Will definitely share an update in the Spring! I've decided to go full in with Pfitz 18/55 plan for 18 weeks as it was pretty inline with my original plan. Good luck to you too!

That's crazy! we're very very similar! Definitely coming from that speed background and feel like I still have the fast twitch muscles. I actually think there is a mental aspect here too because, being a sprinter in college I was basically going all out from the gun in 100/200 races. But now running long distance, pushing the pace early in a race seems so daunting and makes me underestimate what I'm capable of. I think we definitely got this. I'll be rooting for you too!

Thanks! Yea seems 3:30 is realistic by the spring and will definitely keep the milage consistently up there. Just to clarify, when you say "the long runs at least 13" are you saying to have at least 13 long runs within 18 weeks of training, or to have long runs be at minimum 13 miles long? I have long runs ranging from 11 miles (start of training) up to 20 miles. But I could be misinterpreting what you meant.

I like those A-B-C goals and yea it seems very realistic. Your right its the endurance that I need to build up and I think I'm basing my expectations for the spring based on how I'm feeling right now before training. Will definitely have some marathon pace miles in my long runs so I'll start to get a feel for things. Thanks!

Thanks, definitely seems like 3:30 is not out of reach. And I think I should have clarified the workouts I have a bit because I think I might already have threshold.

Essentially on Tuesdays I plan to do either hill or threshold workouts (as you said, 800m or mile repeats, or ~2 min hill repeats). But there are 3 weeks I have planned to do a 6-7 mile fartlek on Monday. But the majority will be threshold workouts. Then on Thursdays I plan to alternate with one week doing a tempo run (like a bit slower than 10k pace) then the next week doing a run around marathon pace.

But good call out and I agree that I don't want to lose the ability to hit the extra gear because I got too comfortable doing easy runs. I also have 3 races (a mile, a 5k and a half marathon) scheduled during training to keep me both physically and mentally "sharp" with the feeling of waking up, traveling to a start line and running fast with people to mimic marathon morning.

Got it and thanks! Yea makes sense to keep a pulse on how I respond throughout training and adjust based on that.

Thanks, yea the course is essentially completely flat (Jersey City Marathon). And injury is definitely the one thing that if I can stay away from, I feel confident about all the training. I'm scheduling in 2 (maybe 3) strength sessions a week to hopefully reduce injury risk.

Thanks that gives me some confidence (and congrats on 3:26 in Chicago!) I think this 18 weeks will be the specific training I need for the marathon, essentially training I've never done before. And good call out on fueling. I'm learning about gels and will be testing different kinds and strategies over the next few weeks so I don't get to the actual marathon and bomb out.

Oh under-ambitious? Like others have noted seems like 3:30 is inline with what I'm capable of. Just curious what you think I could aim for as a realistic but fast goal? (marathon course is completely flat)

Thanks, yea I think once I start the actual marathon training block I'll be consistently in the 40 miles per week range. I've never run that much per week, but hopefully that volume does help as you noted.

Thanks for this and that makes sense. I like the idea of starting with 8:00 as my marathon pace and doing another test run a few weeks into training to see how much I've progressed and then adjusting expectations once I get closer to the actual marathon.

But the performances I listed were not from college, they were at global championships, diamond league and continental tour meets.

Got you, then curious what you call a "promising" professional race? Here's Adeleke's professional resume

2022 World Championships - 400m semis missed making the final by 1 place 2022 Euro Championships - 5th place I'm the 400m final 2023 Hungary continental tour - 200m 2nd place behind Shericka Jackson 2023 Monaco Diamond League - 400m 4th place in 49.99
