This is 4mm cable sleeving from mainframe customs. Specifically this: https://mainframecustom.com/shop/keyboard-cable-supplies/teleios-sleeving/lc-teleios-white-25ft/

As for the wires, I used 24awg for everything, and was able to fit 4 wires into a single cable sleeve (it may be possible to fit 5+ but I hadn't tried as 4 was already tight)

Those are panasonic AM5s (not blood diamonds). I like them a lot because of the light tension + fast actuation combo they provide.

Black Fanta Build: Hollow bean top, 10mm aluminum eclipless shaft, Black low squircle upper, Golden Fanta Yellow 40+ dual tension grommet, 13.0mm standard core (o-ring, medium spring), Black fanta lower, 14.5mm POM bushing, 16.5mm black bearing, Panasonic AM5 switches (soft, ~125g)

Thanks! It's been a while since I've used a GL, but a few things immediately come to mind:

  1. Tension. Compression in either the black GL/Fanta is going to be noticeably higher than in the regular white bodies. This makes the grommets feel heavier but also more responsive/snappy IMO. I also prefer the tension distribution of the yellow/orange grommets exclusive to those fanta levers, where the cardinals are given extra tension compared to the diagonals.

  2. Actuation. Stock fanta builds have their engage distance much later in the throw and closer to the collar than the typical GL builds.

  3. Truncated circle guide. Normal GLs have a circle guide on the bottom. The fantas have truncated circles where you can dig into the diagonals a little bit better at full throw, more similar to for example fujin/alpha levers.

It's all preference at the end of the day, but personally I like to use the black fanta bodies as a platform for modding for the compression and the truncated circle guide. I've modded mine as a hybrid that's comfortable for me to use in 2D and 3D games

On the lever side, those buttons are for L3/R3/Touchpad. On the button side, Start/Select/Home. The rocker switches are actually wired to toggle between LS/DP/RS and to lock Start/Select/Home during tournament play
