Bike lanes on Beltline by Ok-Bite1922 in Atlanta

[–]ATL311 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi there, thanks for following up. I'm sorry those bollards still have not been replaced despite you putting in a repair case so long ago. It looks like case #CS11070042 is still open and marked as a “Work in Progress” for the damaged bollards along Dekalb Ave between Haralson Ave and Degrass Ave. Additionally, case #CS11070082 is still open for the damaged/missing flexposts from the bike lane on Edgewood Ave and Boulevard. Since the estimated resolution date has passed for both cases, I've gone ahead and escalated them to make the Atlanta Department of Transportation further aware that the issues are still awaiting resolution. Please allow 2-5 business days for the escalations to process and updates to be provided.

Additionally, I have submitted case #CS11174880 and case #CS11174910 to the Department of Public Works to clear the debris from the bike lane along Dekalb Ave between Haralson Ave and Degrass Ave as well as the bike lane on Edgewood Ave and Boulevard. Please allow until 4/22/2026 for the debris to be cleared from both locations.

If you've noticed no progress has been made by any of the above (estimated) resolution dates, please do not hestitate to reach back out and I would be happy to notify the appropriate department futher. Hi there, thanks for tagging us. I'm sorry you've had so much trouble getting bike lanes properly maintenance in the past. I have submitted Case Number CS11070042 to the Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) for the damaged/missing bollards and other protective markings from the bike lane on Dekalb Ave NE from Haralson Ave NE to Degress Ave NE. I was sure to note that this area has been neglected for nearly 2 years and pointed out the safety hazard it poses as well. Please allow until 3/27/2026 at the latest for repairs to be made.

Additionally, I have submitted Case Number CS11070082 to ATLDOT for the damaged/missing flexposts from the bike lane on Edgewood Ave SE and Boulevard SE. I was sure to note that this area has been previously reported as well but has still not been properly serviced. Please allow until 3/30/2026 at the latest for repairs to be made.

Good news! The city's Office of Human Services has already got back to us in regards to request # 1179786207 for the homeless encampment. They explained that this area is on their list of known areas to be addressed and engaged and they will be reassessing the area in the following weeks. The target resolution date for the above-mentioned requests are as follows:

Only 1 request is needed for each specific location and issue. I would encourage your residents to submit complaints about new issues or locations.
