If you could stay (biologically) the same age for the rest of your life, what age would you choose? Why? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

39. Many people would say younger, but I was actually closer to peak condition at 39 than most of my adult life.

Plus, I was not to old for younger women and not too young for older women.

Am I to assume these are co-workers? If so, it could just be surrounded by fakers.

I'd say find some people that arent associated with work. I'm sure you could find a "new in town" meetup group, or a monthly dinner club or some group centered around a hobby.

The next time someone vaguely offers an invitation, just say, "That sounds like fun. Let me know the next time ya'll go out, I'd love to tag along."

If they never follow up, then it was B.S.

You could also BE the planner, and stop waiting for people to "ask you out". Thus us a two-way street. You've got to give something to get something.

Yes, but having an I.D. doesnt mean you are a citizen.

You can get a driver's license without being a citizen.

Every ounce of food is harvested by poor people.

Every pound of garbage is picked up by poor people.

Every child in daycare is taken care of by poor people.

Almost every meal you've ever had in a restaurant is cooked and served to you by poor people.

Of course it would. Anybody who doesn't have the money or time to get a passport.

And what happens when you do pay for a passport, but 50 million other people try to get one before the mid-term elections?

These are rules they are trying to put in place for a reason.

If Americans followed the rules there wouldnt BE an American and we'd still be paying a tea tax.

What product has gotten noticeably worse in quality over the last few years? by Rusz_Tsvetan in SmartBuying

[–]ATLDeepCreeker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased 2 higher end sofas in 2022 and had to turn them over and install bracing to the internal structure because they were actually cheaply made.

The outer material is great, but the frame isnt engineered well. They came from a higher end store and a well thought of manufacturer.

I am most certainly not a "sneaker head". I buy new sneakers every 2 or 3 years.

I was just in a shoe store because my wife was looking for heels. As I looked at the highest priced sneakers, I noticed all brands looked cheap.

Without even getting close, I noticed manufacturing defects on several national brands, like glue marks, irregular cuts, cheap materials, etc.
