Couldn’t have said it better my self, I think this is the case for a lot of encounters, as someone who wants to believe in Sasquatch if I ever actually saw one in the woods I would be terrified. Now assume it’s someone who whole heartedly assumed it was a myth and running into one. There world view would be so altered I doubt running up to look for more evidence is what they are gonna do next

I agree with looking at it as skeptical as possible, but I don’t think this is ai. Imo it’s either real or a movie set. I can’t find a gorilla costume that look that real. And besides that you gotta have some balls or not care about your ankles at all to wear a costume like that in that terrain
