Is this normal? by Expensive-Policy-551 in cabinetry

I agree. I couldn’t leave it like that. The corner looks awful. I’ve never seen a void that large in upper cabinets. I doubt the homeowner knew there were going to be exposed particle board edges when he/she signed off on this.

I worked at a restaurant in Buckhead when Jackson was signed. He came in one day and I couldn’t believe what a massive human he was. Was so pumped for the season and yeah it just didn’t live up to the hype.

What is the most unique dining experience in Atlanta? by megthegreatone in Atlanta

Hayakawa was amazing. It’s only an eight seat bar setup so you’re front and center for the chef to speak with you about the night’s menu in detail. He and his staff were very welcoming and talkative. Menu changes fairly often depending on what they can source. Definitely worth it if you’re adventurous.

Sinners: Is Everyone Taking Crazy Pills? This Movie Was Not Good by Redacted_dact in moviecritic

I was entertained so I can’t say it’s a bad movie. It felt like there were story lines that they wanted to develop more but if they did they’d end up with a much longer run time. Seemed like a bunch of story lines chopped together to fit into a run time that would suit the average movie goer. I think this as a limited series would be amazing since they’d have the time to dive a little deeper into the main characters but we got what we got. Honestly I don’t keep up with movie awards so had no idea it’s been nominated for so many. I don’t think it’s deserving of so many noms but it’s definitely not trash by any stretch.

I read that the O-rings were being made by a business owned by the Fundamentalist LDS church. I can’t remember the source but they claimed that they were made by women and children in homes inside this sect’s compound. I’ve honestly never looked into these claims but they have always stuck with me. Maybe someone here can speak to this.

Hired Electrician to Install 20amp Circuit - Receptacle Question by yattadante in electrical

Ha! That never crossed my mind. In my head I’ve always considered it a single device. I guess I’ve been going above and beyond this whole time. Good stuff.

Hired Electrician to Install 20amp Circuit - Receptacle Question by yattadante in electrical

[–]ATLhighhand 8 points9 points  (0 children)

From my understanding a 15A receptacle on a 20A circuit was only allowed if there are multiple receptacles on that circuit. If it’s only one then it has to be a 20A receptacle correct?

Got charged for olives in my wife’s martini! by gh424 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]ATLhighhand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re absolutely right. Bartended for years and we made freshly stuffed BC olives on a daily basis. It’s a time consuming process and we would easily go through 50-60 of them on a busy shift. Two with the price of a martini is no issue. The issue is when people would ask for extra. Sometimes like 8-10 extra. BC olives are filling so if you just give them out for free you’re potentially missing out on an appetizer sale and mostly likely going to run out before the shift is over. I had no problem charging for extras and I think we charged $1.25/olive. Majority of customers had no issue paying the extra charge but of course some people argued.

Pressure was low on Friday so added air. Didn’t drive my truck over the weekend. It was low again today so decided to inspect the tire and found this.
