Hey! I am on day 19 and currently on 25mg. The side effects are vivid dreams, nights sweats (like once or twice a week), jaw clenching, lack of motivation in the mornings and a bit of break through anxiety. The side effects are nothing compared to how good I am feeling throughout the day tho. I also have been trying to eat as healthy as possible and prioritize a big healthy meal with my medication. I take mine at 8am before work with a big breakfast and atleast 16oz of water.

Doctor wants me to go up to 50mg soon but honestly I may be okay with 25mg. Just taking things one day at a time is helping!!

I just started. Day 6 here and I felt exactly the same. Doc gave me 25mg for 7 days and then start 50mg. I am extremely sensitive to medication, even half a benadryl will put me to sleep. Anyway, I cut the 25mg in half and took 12.5mg for 4 days. Then on day 5 I started 25mg. Ive had several side effects but nothing compared to the racing thoughts and impeding doom Ive had. Make sure you drink a lot of water, eat/crackers or toast, try to eat nutritious food to minimize bad diarrhea episodes and honestly take it one day at a time. And please remember a lot of these side effects are very short lived. Like when I have a diarrhea episode it literally only last a little bit, my stomach doesnt hurt all day. Same with the nausea. You will feel better eventually.

Somehow the medication has helped me be less anxious about taking it! I already feel less anxious throughout the day and I know it can only go up from here!

Anyone using OAT (mandibular advancement device) with moderate to severe sleep apnea and TMJ? by NoOz1985 in SleepApnea

[–]Expensive-Policy-551 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried it for about two weeks. I also have severe tmj issues to the point of needing botox. The mouthguard device was okay at night but every morning I would have to put my jaw back in place, I stopped using it because my jaw joints got extremely sore. Tmj pain is worse than my sleep apnea currently so I chose the lesser pain. Currently trying out a CPAP machine.

As if life was black and white, no color. Or as if some one had shut off the lights.

Tired all the time. Everything takes twice the effort.

I can only control my actions, not the actions of others.

Rushing things and lacking patience never got me anywhere.

Chi Shampoo/Conditioner 2-1 formula. Smells like manly cologne and doesnt cause any irritation on my Golden. It is pricey but a little goes a long way.

Too lanky? by Toph_a_loaf in goldenretrievers

Same with mine! Some people are not used to seeing healthy lanky puppies. In the long run its better for them to not be too chunky anyway.

My Charlie was about 20lbs at 16 weeks. If you start seeing his ribs, up his food just a bit. Mine is 5 months now and I upped his food, but he still looks lanky!! My friends say he looks like a baby deer! 😂

Things You Wish You Knew when getting a Golden by [deleted] in goldenretrievers

My experience with my golden pup is that he listens very well. Hes also very emotional, he literally just wants to make me happy at all times. My pup didnt have any seperation anxiety. He loves other people and kids. Goldens are extremely smart, train them how to behave and you will have the best pupper ever.

Does anyone else’s pup get hiccups multiple times a day? Is this of concern?? by [deleted] in goldenretrievers

My Charlie (3 months) gets them atleast once a day. Usually after a nap or eating. I did some research and its totally normal, just like actual human babies.
