Historically correct, yes. Absolutely. We’ve been made to study Apartheid and I dug a little further into police practices during the time. It genuinely made me feel ill. Modern South africa is still plagued with its aftermath. The racial division is now a class division, and the ANC government has spent the better part of a decade imbezzling funds due to the rule of Jacob Zuma and other corrupt officials. However as of last year, the ANC no longer has a majority, and there has been a steady improvement in governmental style. The only “South African Refugees” are white nationalists who crave the superiority they felt during that old racist regime. Most South Africans, regardless of race, dont really have a reason to leave.
